THE FOLLOWING TERMS GOVERN OUR AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE CCTV SERVICES TO YOU AS THE CUSTOMER. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THESE TERMS IN FULL AND CAREFULLY.
BY HAVING AN ACCOUNT OR PLACING AN ORDER WITH Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
These General Terms and Conditions, together with any Specific Terms and Conditions applicable to your Services and the Acceptable Use Policy, form the agreement between You and Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited.
If any of these General Terms and Conditions are inconsistent with any Specific Terms and Conditions applicable to your Services, the Specific Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
By signing up for the Services or accepting our quotation, you warrant that you are capable of entering into a legally binding contract or are acting with the express permission of a person or organisation whose payment details you are using. You confirm that such person or organisation also agrees to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
You also agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations relating to this Agreement and the use of the Services.
The Customer shall make the premises available without interruption during Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited’s normal working hours, from 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays.
Procurement of cables and cable-laying services through Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited is recommended to ensure long-lasting performance and quality footage.
Accessories such as HDMI cables, pipes, bends, clamps, and other installation materials shall be arranged by the Customer before installation unless specifically included in the quotation.
Mobile configuration can be provided at an additional cost, subject to the availability of a stable Internet connection at the premises on the installation date.
A monitor or display screen shall be arranged by the Customer during installation to preview and confirm the quality of the camera output at the premises.
Mobile configuration or permanent monitor connection requested after the installation date shall attract additional charges.
The Customer shall ensure that Internet wiring and network access are available near the proposed location of the DVR or NVR.
An online UPS connection to the DVR or NVR is advisable to ensure uninterrupted CCTV coverage during power fluctuations or outages.
Mounting the DVR or NVR inside a secure network rack is recommended to protect the equipment from disturbance, accidental damage, or manual handling.
Installation may require drilling holes in interior or exterior walls. Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited’s responsibility shall be limited to basic patching of such holes. Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited shall not be responsible for providing matching paint, wallpaper, wall coverings, tiles, or other finishing materials.
A one-year warranty shall be applicable only for manufacturing defects in products supplied by Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited, subject to the respective manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
Service warranty shall not be applicable to video quality, connectivity, power, or performance issues caused by cables, wiring, accessories, or cable-laying work arranged by the Customer or any third party.
The Customer is advised to pay the material cost upon signing or accepting the quotation, terms, or purchase order and to settle the remaining invoice amount as per the agreed payment terms.
The Customer agrees not to permit any unauthorised third party to open, repair, modify, relocate, or tamper with the CCTV or security system without the prior written consent of Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited.
The Customer shall inform Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited in advance about any change in broadband service provider, Internet configuration, electrical system, renovation work, construction work, or other significant activity that may affect the installed system.
The warranty shall not cover the following:
Damage resulting from accidents, fire, water, lightning, natural calamities, electrical fluctuations, improper voltage, alteration, misuse, negligence, tampering, unauthorised repairs, or abuse.
Failure by the Customer to follow the operating instructions, safety instructions, or equipment maintenance guidelines provided at the time of installation.
Problems caused by Internet failure, low Internet speed, broadband interruption, network configuration, router failure, mobile application issues, cloud server issues, or changes made by the Internet Service Provider.
Problems caused by interruption of commercial power, power fluctuations, faulty electrical wiring, inverter issues, UPS failure, or improper earthing.
Physical damage to cameras, DVRs, NVRs, hard disks, connectors, power supplies, adapters, cables, or other accessories.
Damage or performance issues caused by pests, rodents, insects, moisture, dust, heat, corrosion, or unsuitable environmental conditions.
Data loss, recording loss, hard disk failure, accidental formatting, password loss, or deletion of recorded footage.
Any equipment repaired, modified, relocated, or tampered with by the Customer or an unauthorised third party.
All payments shall be made in favour of Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited.
All applicable taxes, GST, duties, levies, octroi, transportation charges, statutory charges, or government-imposed charges shall be payable at the prevailing rates.
The Customer shall pay 60% of the total order value along with the purchase order or confirmation of the quotation and the remaining 40% against delivery, unless otherwise stated in the approved quotation.
The standard delivery and installation period for CCTV Services shall be approximately 15 days from the date of acceptance of the purchase order and receipt of the advance payment.
Delivery and installation timelines may vary depending on product availability, site readiness, project requirements, weather conditions, transportation, or mutually agreed lead times at the purchase order acceptance stage.
The quotation shall remain valid for 15 days from its date of issue unless otherwise specified.
Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited shall provide a service warranty for a period of 12 months from the date of installation, subject to the warranty conditions stated in this document.
General Terms and Conditions and applicable manufacturer warranty terms shall apply to all products and services.
Installation materials such as pipes, bends, clamps, casing, conduits, junction boxes, and other accessories shall be borne and arranged by the Customer unless specifically included in the quotation.
Scaffolding, ladders, lifting equipment, safety equipment, permissions, and access required for installing CCTV cameras at height shall be arranged by the Customer.
To view cameras remotely through the Internet or on a mobile phone, the Customer must arrange a stable Internet connection with a recommended minimum upload speed of 1 Mbps or as required according to the number and resolution of cameras.
A monitor or display screen with an HDMI or VGA port shall be arranged by the Customer during installation unless included in the quotation.
Additional accessories such as a mouse, network cable, router, switch, Wi-Fi extender, monitor, rack, UPS, and power socket shall be arranged by the Customer unless specifically mentioned in the quotation.
Cable supply and cable-laying work shall attract additional charges if the actual requirement exceeds the quantity or specifications mentioned in the quotation.
Civil work, electrical work, concealed wiring, trenching, cutting, restoration, painting, waterproofing, ceiling removal, furniture shifting, or structural modifications are not included unless specifically mentioned in the quotation.
The Customer shall provide suitable electrical points, proper earthing, Internet access, site access, and permission for installation before the scheduled installation date.
Any additional work, relocation, reinstallation, configuration, camera shifting, cable replacement, or site visit requested after completion of installation shall be chargeable.
The payments against invoices shall be due within fifteen (15) days from the date of the invoice unless different payment terms are mentioned in the approved quotation.
If any invoice remains unpaid for more than fifteen (15) days after its due date, Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited reserves the right to suspend or deactivate support, maintenance, remote access assistance, cloud-related services, or other ongoing services until all outstanding amounts are paid.
Suspension or deactivation of services due to non-payment shall not remove the Customer’s obligation to pay the outstanding invoice amount.
Any additional expenses incurred for collection of overdue payments, legal notices, recovery proceedings, transportation, or technician visits may be charged to the Customer.
Once supplied or installed, products shall not be returned or exchanged unless they are found to have a verified manufacturing defect and are eligible under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.
Any cancellation after procurement of materials or commencement of work may attract cancellation, restocking, transportation, and labour charges.
Ownership of supplied equipment shall remain with Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited until full and final payment of all invoices has been received.
Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited shall not be liable for theft, burglary, trespassing, loss of property, personal injury, business loss, loss of data, or any incident merely because CCTV or security equipment has been installed.
CCTV systems are monitoring and recording tools and do not guarantee the prevention of theft, crime, damage, unauthorised access, or other incidents.
The Customer shall be responsible for using CCTV cameras in accordance with applicable privacy, surveillance, data-protection, housing-society, workplace, and local laws.
The Customer shall be responsible for securely maintaining passwords, login details, mobile application access, recorded footage, and authorised user access.
Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited shall not be responsible for unauthorised access resulting from weak passwords, password sharing, compromised mobile devices, third-party applications, or failure by the Customer to secure login credentials.
Any dispute arising from the quotation, supply, installation, maintenance, payment, or Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts applicable to the registered business location of Sonora Engineering OPC Private Limited.
By approving the quotation, issuing a purchase order, making an advance payment, accepting delivery, or permitting installation work to begin, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
